About Sonia Casaverde

Being an autodidact, Sonia is always trying out new materials and techniques. Sonia was

born in Lima, Peru and she is living in The Netherlands for many years. Nevertheless, she still stays in touch with her Latin American background.

 

In daily life, Sonia works as a medical doctor. Her work as an artist is enriched by the two cultures she belongs to, as well as by her professional experiences.

 

Sonia uses the revenues from her paintings to support college students in her native country.
